This Privacy Policy describes how RokuRemoteController ("the App") by Ihtisham collects, uses, and discloses information when you use the App. The App is designed to discover and control Roku devices on your local network. The App does not create user accounts and does not store user-identifiable personal data.

Information the App accesses
No personal data collected. The App does not collect, store, or share names, email addresses, contacts, messages, photos, or any personal identifiers.
Permissions & local networking
To function the App may request the following permission(s) on your device:
- Network access / Local network: required to discover and communicate with Roku devices on the same Wi-Fi network. This access is used only to send commands to your Roku device and to receive device responses needed for remote functionality. All control and discovery happen locally on your network; the App does not send device control data to external servers.
Third parties and advertising
The App does not integrate third-party services, advertising SDKs, or analytics that collect personal data. If third-party services are added in a future update (for example, ads or crash analytics), this policy will be updated and you will be informed which services are used and what data they collect.
Data retention & deletion
Because the App does not collect or store personal data, there is nothing to retain or delete. If you uninstall the App, any temporary local configuration (for example, remembered last-used device IP stored locally on your device) will be removed by the app uninstall process or can be removed via the app's in-app settings (if present).
Security
The App only sends local network commands to devices on your Wi-Fi. We follow standard best practices for local network communication and do not transmit sensitive information off your device. However, please be aware that network security is also determined by your Wi-Fi environment and device security settings.
Children
This App is not targeted to children under 13. Since the App does not collect personal data, it does not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child provided information in the App in error, please contact us (see below) and we will respond promptly.
Changes to this privacy policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If material changes are made (for example, if the App begins collecting data or integrates third-party analytics/ads), we will publish a new effective date and update this document. Check this page periodically for updates.
